I'm going to be camping. Joe- I don't know if it was so much as an argument we just agreed to disagree, and I am always looking for a good disagreement to practice my skills on in case I get married some day. The capo is treating my great, I've got some good stories to tell about it. Give me a call when you get up here and I will head on over.

Will- if you need anything let me know, I'm about as local as it gets. On this ride I guess I am what I would call a townie.

    Exact Address is.....

    Furse Farm
    W330 N4980 County C
    Nashotah, WI 53058

(exactly .5 miles north of Hwy 16 {on east side of road})

I'll put a tire on the white fence-- you can't miss it...

I'm unfamiliar with this area but am excited to hit roads (hopefully gravel) west of Madison... You local boys may prove useful :nod :evil

I am considering a cameo appearance. What is the driving time and/or mileage from lets say O'hare and 294? Also, do you think the roads/riding are more suited for a 950 KTM or trailering up the 625 SXC? :ear

Cameo appearances are welcome -- The mileage from Evanston is about 100 miles... I think it'd be about the same or a little less from O'Hare/294...

It sounds like either bike would work; Im on a DRZ, Joe's on a KLR650, Reverand is on a Capo Nord (1000, I think), and I dunno which bike Katoom is riding...If I were you, and I didn't care about blasting out in front of the smaller bikes, I'd take the 950 -- but, trailering the 625 might be easier with your time concerns...

The best way to come from the Chicago-land area is (Im talking to you, Taki, Joe, Katoom :ear )...

94 to 894 west to 94 west to Pewaukee exit 293C (Hwy 16 west) to Nashotah/Delafield exit 179 (County Hwy C north) and then follow the directions above -- Look for the Trailwing secured to the white mailbox.. a

Not Joe, but leaving Grayslake at 5:00 am, got room on the trailer if you want to show up here on the bike- we can throw it on pretty easy. If so call 224-627-7581 let me know. Jim

I suppose I could ride also, but would rather drink coffe and get fat on doughnuts

I'd take you up on your offer but Grayslake at 5:00 am may make a liar out of me. I am comming from Downers Grove heading up either 355 0r 294 I was planning on leaving my house at 5:00 sharp which would put me in the Gurnee area around 5:35~40 ish. Open to any ideas, and I may leave sooner but I dont know how much prep time I will have this evening.

336.5 miles on a dirt bike is a looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg way but we did it. It was awsome. Thanks for the lesson in aimless wandering, it really was a cool adventure.

I'll check out the pics later and post some good ones.

Thanks to fist for the hospitality, moto joe for leading us to other end of the earth, and reverend for showing me how to jump a 600lb bike off a bridge at 50mph, Taki, thanks for the company up and the advise on my 950.
