    Sounds like a great ride! I was in California on business all week and couldn't follow this thread -- or join you. I did take a not so short ride to St. Louis Sunday with the return split over Monday night and Tuesday morning -- Hwy 39 is very boring, even at 80 mph on a GS! :puke1

    Where the hell were you in Southern WI?

    most of that trail has a 10mph speed limit (so don't screw it up for the rest of us). It is kept smoother then the gravel roads around it. It is not a challenging ride but is sure pretty. the trail is mostly maintained for four wheelers and snow sleds.

    Boy that sounds like lecture, I left home 22 years ago.

    The speed limit on most of the trails 30mph. 10 mph when nearing towns and is very clearly marked.

    It is most definately a beautiful ride!

    My bike has no speedo(lie) so i just figure top of third gear is slow enough.

    that trail is smoooth enough the top of 5th would be fine for the drz but there are other people on it too.
