Let me know when you do. I took Thursday off at work.gonna download one of these and take off
I'll be putting them on here tonight.
Haven't been on this thread in a long time-------good stuff--------and close to home.
Well----let's just hope they are patching the roof------and nothing more !!!
Wow, nice rides. I grew up in Casey, IL (actually going there for X-mas this year) and lots of Dad's side of family in the area from Mattoon down to Fairfield. Moved away in '94 and still miss the place. The southern half of the US where I've been for the past 23 years is nice, but there is nothing like the woods and back roads of south central IL. Maybe one day I'll make it back home with a bike in tow.
Man I haven't heard that store name in decades. Dad used to stop in there for lunch a lot when I was a kid and going to the Oil Fields with him.
Just checked out the C&D routes and the SW route is only 30 min from where I live. I'll definitely be checking it out very soon if anyone wants to be my plus 1?? I haven't gotten to ride the new KTM 690 yet and I think this may be my virgin ride
Can't wait to finish my project and begin riding some of these roads. I know Moonshine!
Unfortunately as of 4/13/18 C&D Motorsports will be closed permanently. The tracks are still good and a lot of fun but the shop is closed.
My brother Don will be opening his own shop very soon. It will be called Don Becktells Oil City Cycles.
I will be changing the name of them and modifying the tracks to start and stop at the shops new location soon.
More info to come.
I'm sorry to hear that!
Best of luck to your brother on the change of Venue. Still planning on checking out the routes as soon as the weather stays nice.
