    Hi Guys and Girls,

Hope its okay to post this, I recently flew my BMW S1000XR over from Scotland (UK) to Vancouver (Canada) using the Air Canada fly your bike programme. Me and my girlfriend did 7,200 Miles in 24 days going from Vancouver all the way up to Prudhoe Bay and then back down through the rockies and then back to Vancouver and put the bike on the plane.

We made a video of the whole adventure, tried to keep it as short as possible but had so much footage of the trip! Not the best video but hope you enjoy!

    Thank you.

This is a great video. Congrats on the trip and the job well done with the vid.

What dates were you in Ak? I was there and on the same roads mid June until early July. We turned back on the Dalton because of the road conditions, ( rideable just not fun ), so I can appreciate your accomplishment.

One other comment. You are an idiot if you don't ask that GF to marry you. :-)

    Ben.

Thanks for the nice comments guys!
The trip was the first 3 weeks of July this year (2019) actual dates in Alaska were 8th July to 14th July. We got so lucky with the weather on the Dalton section and only had rain and slippy mud on the last day from the Yukon river back to the sign for the start of the Dalton.
Ha ha every biker I met on the trip told me the same thing about getting her married!!:jack

Great video, thanks for sharing. First time I can recall seeing a wolf in anyone's ride report to Alaska.

Thanks again for the nice comments! I would love to do the ride again, but its time to save up some money again for the next trip. Looking into riding across Russia next with the same bike and nip into Mongolia aswell along the way :)
Ha yes the wolf was actually quite scary at the time as we were actually looking for somewhere to camp and then that happened (doesn't look so bad on the camera but at the time when you feel so isolated it felt a big deal!). After seeing the wolves my girlfriend didnt want to camp so we ended up riding all night to Prudhoe, so we actually did Fairbanks to Prudhoe in one long stint!

Fantastic scenery. Amazing what drone footage has done to increase the quality of video motorcycle travel blogs.

Thanks :) The drone really does help get some nice alternative footage, even though it was a pain to set up everytime we wanted to use it, and also a pain to carry on the bike! Worth it tho now looking back!

That was fantastic thanks. You really got lucky on the weather, and managed to capture the turquoise color of some of those lakes. It really is hard to look at that and believe it is real.
I took a drone up on my last trip, and it rained every freakin day. lol.

    Well done.

Loved your video essay - very well done. And I appreciate you also taking the time to get off the bike and actually stage and shoot the scenes. I tend to power through...and wish I'd stopped and smelled the roses. And take more pictures.

Thanks for the nice comments! Ha ha getting the ride by shots really take up a lot of time, but I guess worth it when trying to get a variety of different shots for the video!

Great video! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us! Amazing you had a wolf chase you! I've never heard of that happening on any of the ride reports, and you captured it with video! Congrats! Amazing!
