If there is a spare Spot 3 I would be interested. If the sellers don't mind could you PM me their details? :hmmmmm

So far, I've only turned up Spot Gen2's. And I'm having real trouble finding out if I can use one to go on a Flexi Plan cos I'd only use it a couple of times a year.
SPOT say no, but others have told me they have done it. :dunno

No worries. A new Spot 3 is under $299 I think. Electric Bug has them. If none turn up I'll buy a new one, as I'm supposed to be heading to Cairns later in the year.

I've finally managed to do a walk around video of my Himalayan, the one you see in my videos. It's a bit rougher than I'd hoped... but you can't see all the editing that got it this polished :doh

I've got one of them, too! :thumb
I only bought mine cos it was cheap, but apart from deep sand, it's really impressed the hell out of me. :D

Cheap as and for me it is perfect. Not too heavy. Just a joy to ride. Can wring its neck when I feel like it, otherwise a nice ride. :-)

Thanks mate, well done to you also for punting the DRZ around that track, between the dust and those sandy deep ruts it was hard work.

Ok, my 95 year old father has finally decided to "hang up his boots" and has asked me to help him sell his Early 80s BMW R65.
Sad day for him after a long riding career including many years of racing.
Anyway, don't know much about them and wanted some idea of pricing?
Not many around for sale to compare with.
    Cheers Dances with roos

Maybe take it on a ride down to Pitman's, they should be able to give you a bit of a guide, also you can sell it on consignment for $500 fee there. A mate has sold all his bikes there and it is an easy process without all the hassle.

Yes had thoughts of turning it into a cafe racer type machine. Its stock with only 30,000 odd kms on it.
But it looks rough, needs a going over, head stem bearings notched out, seal on drive shaft has a leak etc. All small things but time consuming.
Also I've owned an R80 GS in the past, I won't touch another BMW, I even walk a wide berth around them in a carpark! Worst thing ever!
