He's probably just using his 'big' bikes in lieu of Viagra. Afterall, he describes his ride as:
Heck, my little Kymco will get me to "exceeding the speed limit" in any road I can think of in my neck of the woods and haul my fat a$$ up and over the 8,250 foot pass on my last ride. I am pretty happy with what I have. The 250-300cc Vespas I rode with did he same 2-up with camp gear.
Where's that name change thread? waystupid sounds so much better than jb.
mad ass, mad ass, mad ass
What I really want ta know about is the X-Road! Same company, y'all got these over at M/S ? thrown a set of knobbies on them yet?
I feel a road trip coming on.
i'm 6'2" and i've never felt like a Shriner riding it. True i'm as goofy looking as $%&@ but i don't think the MA has anything to do with it.
just the thing for getting around town on a weekend boating getaway
That's cool. Sure is a dedicated MA owner.
i wonder what county parks sticker that is on the frame of the bike.
What happened to the MadAss crowd?
Bloom off the rose?
They're too busy riding to post
How do you like the XT225?
Anyone ridden one enough to break it in? Im still curious about the flat ground top speed?
i haven't gone out of my way to really push it or test it out but i've gotten it to about 57 mph on level stretch and it still felt like it had more juice left.
I'm sure there's others with a more technical approach or plan to figure it out.
The XT225 is a very good, light weight, and simple dual sport.
xt225.com for all the info on the XT225/250.
thanks. i'm keeping the XT250 in mind when i'm able to add another bike. I had a chance to ride one during my MSF basic course and it seemed like a good fit for me and i was wondering how it was in the long run.
Have you guys heard about the two crazy guys from Pride of Cleveland that are going coast to coast on a MadAss 125?
Check out their blog here: www.drmadass.com
They are in their van heading for San Diego and will unload the MadAss 125's and head towards Washington DC. What a great adventure! Wish I had the time to join them.
I wish them the best and will be glad to help if they need anything.
Thanks for sharing the link Bill.
Alright, I am in. This is my next motorcycle purchase.
So because I am a true hooligan.... What would be the conversion cost of the 49cc to a 160 cc? Yes I want the 49cc for titling and legal registration requirements.... I need the 160cc cuz I am a chunky butt and I like power.
I have other mods in store for it, and have already started buying accessories. Trust me, you dont want to know what my plans are for the FrankenAss
I can neither confirm nor deny the midnight passes planned at the local BMX park.
If you change out the motor for a 160cc one then you are no longer a legal liquor scooter. You might be able to get away with it but if you are stopped then....
how would they know it's not a 49cc mill in it? does it say in flashing lights 160CC?
Because most of the states that define a 49.5cc as legal with just a driver's license or no license at all also have speed statutes in their regulations. The police will know something's amiss when someone's riding above the 30 or 35 mph limits without plates, etc...
Usually stamped on the block but of course you could grind that off but as the bear says if your cruising along at 60mph...
