I'm an old time lurker on Pyndon 950 thread where I found reference here, this RR doesn't disappoint.

The only thing slower than the Greek economy is the useless Greek postal service. I ordered on the 10th April and it arrived on the 3rd May

Haven't watched it yet .......... but already have a smile on my face

Just received my copy last night, it was great! Thanks Pyndon, I expect it's tough to ride in that kind of environment & make a movie at the same time... I can't believe someone could ride there with a broken collarbone...

The "weird" Canadian shipping issue is customs - I've had a set of tires waiting there for almost two weeks.

Mine came in a flash...4 days I think! of course it went into the dvd player as soon as I came in the house....
Loved the music, the HD image, the production in general. Outstanding effort:clap
I think more riders should try this, I certainly would.
I personally felt really disapointed with the ending (not the theatrical one)....I think I felt their dissapointment as if I'd been there:cry
I'm watching it for the second time as I type this, I'm really happy I purchased it!
I'll probably watch it as many times as I have watched LWR and LWD....:D
In the meantime, one of you guys should put one out so I can add it to my adventure riding dvd collection:lol3

It's hard to believe that it's two years since I was on this trip, how time flies!

When I wrote this ride report, leading up to the release of the DVD (which was a year ago incidentally), many of you said I should write a book. At the time I had no desire to do this, I'd have much rather jumped on the bike and gone for a ride. I had a lot of the work done, it just needed that final push. Don't get me wrong, I'd have loved to have had a book about the adventure, more for me than for anybody else but I just had other priorities, career, more adventures etc.

Those of you that have written ride reports of this size know exactly how much time and effort it takes, not to mention the DVD. Anyway, I'd written the idea off, but my girlfriend had not, and obviously picked up on the fact that I would have liked to have done it, one day.

So, on Christmas morning we were out for a walk in the snow and I was presented with this, a hard back copy of 'Salt & Gold 2009, My Story.....By Pyndon'

So, 2 years ago was the trip, one year ago was the release of the DVD and now, my very own hardback book / picture book of the adventure. What a fantastic Christmas present!
