I have, and I must be missing something- can you help?

I see the blue track out of Ramona, then the green track that is Mesa Grande + 76 + East Grade Road, then the blue Nate Harrison, then 76 to 15 where tracks stop.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you.

Change the back ground map becasue the colors of the route are blending in with the color of the roads so your not seeing the route.

Got it, thanks. I slightly changed the names of the tracks so they'd display in order on my GPSs.

I also bike - bicycle bike - and that is the weekend I am committed to the Tour De Palm Springs.

I checked parts of the route virtually, i.e. Google street view. The gate at Pamo Road and Ysabel Truck Trail shows closed there. Is that a close the gate behind you kind of gate?

Looks like the longest segment between Gas stations is the Santa Ysabel Junction and Julian the next day and that's about 75 miles.

Cool the other potential gate closure area that needs reconed is Cedar Creek Rd that connects Eagle Peak road with Boulder Creek Rd.Where do you live in San Diego so we can find a good meet up area. Could we meet up in Alpine at Viejas Casino and ride Viejas Grade to Boulder Creek Rd to investigate if Cedar Creek Rd is open then continue down to Black Canyon Rd and see if we can get through Santa Ysabel Truck Trail?

I'm a couple miles north of downtown San Diego in the Linda Vista area, so anywhere east that you want to meet will be fine.

Just got back from a ride that included some of this route. The gate to Santa Ysabel Truck Trail from Black Canyon was locked and posted for hikers, bicycles and horses (I think horses).

Well that's that i guess we can continue down Black Canyon to the 78. Now the last question have they gated Cedar Creek Rd since i last rode it in November. I maybe able to go for a ride after church tomorrow and check it out. I'm wondering if its only open during Hunting Season.

Yeah- I'm not sure what goes on there. I've ridden the road many times from the bottom and don't remember it being locked at the top. Maybe it's seasonal??

Jasper/Culp are in pretty good condition, no giant bike-eating ruts and the sand in the wash at the bottom was very manageable for my buddy on his 990.

I just edited the route on dualsportmaps.com and removed Santa Ysabel Truck trail and continued on Black Canyon Rd. Should we add Jasper to the route?

I suspect I'm confused. I thought Jasper/Culp were the trails that the map calls Grapvine Canyon. In which case I amend the post to say that Grapevine Canyon has no bike-eating ruts and the wash at the bottom is OK, etc.

    My bad.
