I was thinking Jasper was an off shoot of Grape Vine Canyon and connected to Montezuma Rd farther east. Look at this Anza Borrego Loop map it cuts off of Grape Vine in the middle of the route i selected and heads more north east along jasper to Montezuma rd. So we could continue down Montezuma road farther and then turn on Jasper and then connect with grape Vine Canyon about half way down.

X-Country, I looked at the ride route that you are putting together and it looks like a lot of fun. Coming from AZ, would I have to get any kind of pass to ride in this area?

Penciled IN. If we don't go out to the dez with dirtbikes I would trailer the 630 down.

Looks like a great loop. :thumb

Yes the rides the 11th and 12th. Meet up is at 930Am on the 11th at the Mobile Station just west of the 15 and 76 Juntion. Bring camping gear for a Butterfield Ranch. Butter Field has a small store that sells basic items and firewood for a fire. They also have wireless, hot tubs and swimming pools. Camping at Butterfield is 20 bucks a night. Don't bring anything more than what your willing to strap to the bike. This is a bring your stuff with you kind of ride not a haul your bike to a campground and then go ride kind of trip.

Hmmm...without reading thru all 10 pages of thread, is this a road ride or trails? It's sounding like mostly graded/groomed dirt roads, some hiway? If it's a road run I have a road bike for that.

Also for an organized ride we usually see an attendee list and bike type. Did I miss that somewhere?

You mentioned staging at a gas station...is there a place to leave a car and trailer if I drive to SD from OC? Not too excited about leaving a forty thousand dollar rig at a gas station for two days. Is there a parking lot, somebody's house, something like that nearby? An airport? I've learned that's the hot setup for staging. Just pay to park and not worry about a rig left for a few days. At least they have surveylance cameras.

Just to clear things up this is an adv ride picked for larger adv bikes. Its not an enduro type ride. Its a mix of dirt and mountian twity paved roads. Think KTM 990, BMW F800GS and Triumph Tiger 800Xc.

That'll do as long as you can get a tent and a sleeping bag on there.

    76 & 15 is do-able. 75 miles. I don't superslab this thing much.

Somehow I was thinking we were starting further south so no problem.
