    Ok, we have players... Cool.
I'm off on my trip this weekend so hopefully before then we'll come to a decision about a date and destination. I'm guessing sometime in mid/late Jan.
    Meeting points in the city????
Sports basement in the presidio has plenty of room but, no coffee :slurp but, has direct acess to the GG bridge.
    Any other ideas??

I'm down, sounds like a good time (don't know why we haven't done this sooner) I think we should pick a date and we can figure out what's best for everyone (as far as location) from there. MaddBrit mentioned the big DV ride on the 26th-28th of January so thats going to tie quite a few people up at the end of this month (myself included). What do you guys think about January 1st. We could start the first annual Hangovers Day ride?

Hooraay!!! I finally bumped into someone from that great ride! Yeah, and it was a great breakfast even though I had to kinda hurry through mine so you guys didn't leave me at the table! I've added a few goodies to the KLR to make it better at handling the wilds. Soon, I hope, will do a jet kit to handle altitudes. Let's all do this ride. But I will need to plan ahead, since my new job makes it hard for me to 'just take a day off'. BTW, Whacker,: weren't you and I talking about the old days in Lawrence and Manhattan? :super

I'm in Marin and interested in a ride/meet. Just got my new (very clean) bike from Toyanvil down south, and hoping to get it very dirty.

Hey, MaddBrit, I've been watching the DVDaze thead also. Thinkng that looks like a great ride, but don't want to ride my DRZ400 600 miles on the road down there and back. Don't have a truck or trailer myself. Anybody trailering from the Bay area with room?

Depending on the weekend in question, I'd be very interested. :freaky I have hockey games 1/7, 1/21, and 1/28, but they're all Sunday evenings, so I could make an earlier ride and duck out early if I have to. :lol3

Can we go to Zeitgeist first and/or afterwards?

Usal in the winter? OK, but remember, lift with the legs, not the back.

Ok, I'm guessing from the jist of things that a day ride is more preferable to most.
I'm now lookiing at the photos of usal in winter, hmm, looks yummy.
I torn between Usal and that road around clearlake, Barlett Springs road, that goes all the way to bear valley road .
There are some great river crossings that we can either do or, go around so giving everybody a chance.

I did that loop before and It's about 250 miles round trip, maybe a little more.

    Anybody got any other ideas?

    Sunday January 14??
I'll be working on a route in the next hour.
