What's amazing to me is that the world is waiting to hear from this small town mayor and 2 year governor, she is creating quite a stir. I don't agree with all of her positions but I think she is great, just what washington needs.

I wouldn't bet on that. I know a lot of dyed-in-the-wool democrats, my mother one of them, who are voting for McCain. They are sick of the leftist socialists who have taken over their party.

I must say she did hit the home run. What a speach!, and the democrates are now howling on Larry King.

Yet my previously comments still stand: She really doesn't have the experience to lead the country. Much as I like her, she needs more seasoning, foreighn policy and economic experience as starters. But clearly she's now at the forefront of national politics and will surly have another chance.

Hopefully, McCain would stay healthy and Palin would get busy and work hard getting up to speed on world politics/policys as VP.

As previously mentioned; the executive branch as unlimited resourses and as many expert advisors as wanted. The federal government can and does hire consultants/experts all the time. Sarah can get all the seasoning she'll need with advisors while holding the "under the radar" job of the VP. The small business person generally does not have that advantage. A business truth; always try to hire someone smarter than youself.

Clear thinking, self reliant citizens need to do all we can to keep Nobama and his liberal spending buddy out of the White House. Let's rally around Sarah/McCain and get some GOP votes.

I think she has brought new life to the McCain bid for office. She may be inexperienced in foreign relations but her best assets are her down to earth character and common sense. Obama has neither of these qualities.

Foreign policy / relations can be learned, character and common sense cannot.:deal

As someone commented in the British press, she is the cure for electile dysfunction.

What a speech she gave...and with a malfunctioning tele-prompter to boot.

Gloria Steinem is frothing at the mouth. :clap

Even the Dems love her. I admit she is doing a good job... Restoring my faith in the Republican party. She did a great job at the convention last night. Go Sarah! :clap

    Dear Sarah,

    I think you're pretty neat.

Thank you for saving us from the commies, bad Americans, and some other stuff.

Please chase that Bama guy all the way back to the cave he came from.

    Your Buddy,

    Bob

A dyed-in-the-wool democrat can never be tired of leftist socialists (meaningless labels by the way, are republicans anti-social?). Maybe the wool has faded a little?

Largest deficit in the history of our nation any way you look at it. You accuse the liberals of spending. At least dems (ala Clinton) pay as they go. Allowing China to buy our country out from under us can't be what you see as good for our national, fiscal, or moral security. Enjoy your illusions.

Spending, debt, income to the treasury dept. Clintons turn under Reganomics, is another topic all together.
However, I guess I meant to say that Nobama and his liberal buddy want to move us to Socialisim. Where government is everything to everybody -- sorry I was not clear.
