one needs only to look at this thread and other similar threads to see whats wrong with America today. A Nation of people and political Parties divided to the point of being unable to do the jobs they are elected to do.
People hearing only what they want to hear and twisting half truths to make a point reflecting their own twisted skewed vision of the world and opinions that make no point whatsoever.
so this thread was intended only for Alaskans to comment about their feelings about the VP elect, but you had to know the nuts would come, they can't help themselves.
I moved from Alaska last year and most of you all know me. as a former Alaskan I thinks it's great. I get people everyday asking about Alaska and The VP pick. I tell them Alaska was great and the People that live there are mostly pure and unspoiled by the insanity of over population. Some get it some don,t.
    groove on there groovers.
    Mike

    Bad?

Not, at all, infact I think even our big 'ol loveable Gusgus might approve of her.

Sarah Palin has an overall approval rating of 80% here in Alaska. She has shaken up this states political "good 'ol boy" network and has done some great things for the state.

The "Pitbull in Lipstick" comes from a joke:

Question: What's the difference between a Hockey Mom and a Pitbull?

    Anwser: Lipstick!

Truth be told, GusGus lives just a few miles from her. Probably stood next to her in the grocery line more than a few of times.

Better get used to it. The politicos I know who are good at reading the public are taking bets she'll win. She's taken the place of Lady Di for all those middle aged women searching for an icon to attach to, and she is now a phenomena. Wasilla will never be the same. Soon we'll see the Wasilla equivilent of Graceland.

Don't move, 50 miles away is far enough for my mechanic to be.

I'm not from Alaska and have only visited your great state one time. The best parts of Alaska for me were the scenery and the nice people. They seemed very real.

I hope you guys start cutting a bunch of chainsaw statues of Sarah. :D

Wait till she is elected. Then there will be all kind of changes, especially in security.
I was living and working in Juneau when Chelsea Clinton came up there to go whale watching in kayaks.
The Secret Service shut down the whole damn airport, till they left. Then again when they were done.
We have the Massia is here today and the same SS crap is going on. I know they have to protect the politicians but it is a little creepy being watched by US Government snipers.
Then wait till the nut jobs start heading to the town and protesting farting in the woods. Start investing in tourist crap also, you'll make a mint selling moose turds.
    Good luck

Welcome to the big time. :lol3
Just wait 'till THEY start cleaning up the undesirables that are deemed unwelcome on a global stage.

We had Ronny in here SB for more than 4 terms.
A motorcycle could barely be found during that time. :becca

    Good luck up there.
Be careful what ya ask for. :lol3
