Yep, looks just like it. You gotta wonder how many people fall for that type of thing.
I suspect not many.
Held gear is top shelf. This website - notsomuch. Too good to be true always is.
Very happy with my new jacket
Forma Boulders for $120!
This site has a weird cross-section of stuff but its all nearly 50% off.
Anyone tried it yet?
The checkout page is not https - avoid.
Looks like the same scam as these:
All three domains are registered with email addresses on 163.com - a Chinese site.
Oh man, I was about to jump the gun too haha.
Thanks a bunch!
It's also interesting that the trend I've seen on some of these sites is that while they're registered using a chinese email provider, they use US-based names and addresses. Except the addresses I've looked at it don't seem to be real. I haven't figured out if they're straight credit card scams, or if they're selling fakes. Based on the number of products they're offering, guessing it's a card number collector.
First rule of any online purchase is that you want HTTPS during the payment and/or account creation/login stage at a minimum. It shouldn't contain warnings about invalid certificates either. However that isn't always enough as they may offer a secure payment form like any good business would and still manage to direct your payment info to their spreadsheet. There are a few foreign sites that sell foreign gear for a decent mark-down, but I don't think there's much where you'll see legitimate 50% savings on wide selection of current model non-closeout items.
I found this site while looking for a revit sale: http://www.bridgetsbreads.com/revit-c-6.html.
They sell everything for 50% at the moment!
I don't know if this site is legit though, anyone knows this site?
It's in Dutch for me (thats where I from). I don't see a language option anywhere so I don't know what it looks like for you guys.
Call Rev-It, ask if they are legit?
That's a superb idea! I will do that tomorrow.
It may be a scam, or at very least poorly done commerce - their check out is not secure at all. Be very careful.
That's why I ask here to see what you guys think about it:)
Before I sell a kidney to buy some rev'it gearXD
every week there's a new fake site like it:
I see. Thanks a lot. This site must be the same.
I'll sell two kidneys then.
I wonder if they have a mailing address, I'd like to send them something.
Things i learn on ADVRider.
That Doc Martens makes "ballerina" shoes.
I did sent them a message, asking with what company they ship (DHL, GLS, etc.) They replied with "Post Office" that's it, no hello no goodbye nothing.
