A friend from up morth promised to go riding in VA with me next month if I could suggest a route with nice scenic twisty roads. I haven't done much riding in VA though.

Any suggestions? My friend will be on a Ducati ST3 so we'll be sticking to paved roads. Any help would be appreciated. Something in GPX format would be really great!

Stay off the Blue ridge parkway, it blows monkey chunks, Go to Harrisonburg and take 33 west, then take 28 south from there you can go over to Snowshoe via 66 out of greenbank. once you get to 219 south take 150 over to 39, take 39 back to marlinton wv.....from ther any road is good

I've quite a bit of routes in MD, VA and WVA. How much time or distance per day are you looking for?

Probably not a lot - a few hours in the morning, and 3-4 hours after lunch.

We must be practically neighbors - I live in Rockville too!
