Snake in the road
So this happened...
Man down! That sucks to have a tree go down.
I have quit riding. I don't even use my bike for errands anymore.
Ben, what happened? Why are you not riding?
My Burgman is 50 feet away from me right now while I am at work.
To much stuff going on. It's just easier to hop in the Ranger or Soul and take off to do my errands. We've been in two wrecks in the past year and a half. My mind goes straight to, " I'm glad I wasn't riding." Both happened in areas where I ride frequently. We've also had a lot of very close misses. Every time it was distracted driving. Texting or not looking forward while rubbernecking.
Had to stop and pick up some cat food on the way home.
I used to get strange looks when I went to the local feed store loaded up horse feed or seeds (50# bags) on the scoot.
How many miles per quart of chow?
And how long has it been since you cleaned that poor girl?
And with cbolling the stuff going in.
I think he passed me.
It was a close call.
Out and about tonight:
Barnes and Noble
A Caddy for sale on the side of the road. I think my PCX would fit in the trunk.
A college football Trailer
Nice ride. They closed Books A Million. They sold all the oddball magazines I like. Somehow, when I subscribe to a rag, they disappear before they reach my house.
Won a couple of saws at a local auction. A Pawn shop was going out of business.
I love being able to pick up stuff on a scooter. You just can't do stuff like this on a motorcycle very easily.
Wowwe. Poke Mr. Happy in the eye. Take it easy.
I recently purchased an 08 Burgman 400. Loving it so far but every time I open the seat / storage area I get a blast of gas fumes. Anybody have this same experience? I haven't seen any obvious leaks onto the pavement, nor any seepage on the carpet like liner. I stored my riding gear in the storage area the other day and all of it came out smelling like gas.
