I could get them on my bike but not many people would. Nice score.

I joined that forum/blog when I got the Burgman and I find it lacking. A lot of the postings and comments are old. I was hoping for something better but actually disappointed. For instance, I did post this same question and got one asshole reply that said - "yep, happens every taco night".

I don't have or know the Burgman but, evap circuit, charcoal canister and lines might be a good thing to look at. It's sole purpose is to prevent free gas vapors from escaping by containing them in the charcoal canister.

Steve_h thanks for the advice. my problem is I don't have the mechanical chops to tear into it to "diagnose the beast.

If you filled up the tank recently maybe you over filled it a little and it flowed into the charcoal canister?

No it's been like this from day one. It now has a 1\4 tank.

MicBergsma makes it seem pretty easy to get to the top of the engine. I would look in there at the rubber lines and connections.

Sorry to hear that. It used to be a pretty decent forum.

. I feel you on that.
I think that I’m used to more active fora like the ones that I frequent covering my Toyota 4Runner, Corvette and this one. The Burgie 650 area of the BUSA forum seems to have more avid posters but I have learned quite a bit about my ‘06 S400 by diving in to the older posts. It is a shame that they lost the Knowledge Base when they switched software as it appears that much of the communal experience was parked there.

So I sold the Burgman today. I just didn't ride it enough to justify keeping it. It is a great bike but I never connected with it like I did with the 400. At this point I still have the PCX. I have it listed for sale also but I am I no rush to sell my last scooter. I am not sure what I am going to do but I was ready for a change. 20190706_180721.jpg

Wondering if any of you Burgman fans could tell me where I could find a set of Fehling side case racks to fit on my 08 AN400? I want to add a set of GIVI E21's , or the newer 22's

So, just like that I am bike less. I listed the Burgman and the PCX for sale on Saturday night. I figured that I would sell one and keep the other. Well the Burgman sold on Sunday morning and the PCX sold on Tuesday evening. I am not sure what I am going to get to replace them.

Geeeez, I have a few life issues and disappear to take care of them and the scooter dude falls by the wayside.......It's just a dry spell brother, you didn't need to drink the sand just because there was a temp shortage of water :lol3

Alrighty then, I guessing you gonna get something kewl to ride again once your brain cools down... :jump

I guess that I never really connected with the Burgman 650 and the PCX 150 like I did with the Burgman 400. I think that was just the perfect bike for me.

Well heck, there's your answer. All iterations of the 400 are solid bikes.

If ya can wait a few months (rest of the season) the prices may improve a bit; albeit availability might not.

Of course if you want to stray, in that range, I kinda like the BV350, & the SMAX 300 too, both are worth a look IMHO.

    Definitely keep us posted :D
