Scotland is a beautiful and very scenic country. But there is a downside in the summer... the locals. I don`t mean people, I mean midgies, midgies and more midgies. They eat you alive ( slight exaggeration, but not nice, take lots of insect repellant ). Infact it is the number one brand of perfume for the local lasses :rofl , no offence Dutch

I happen to like the scent of skeeter repellent. Maybe it's cause I lost my cherry in a tent in Alaska. Lovely gal she was. Enthusisatic. Hell we both were.

Grandma always liked gramps aftershave. Only gramps didn't use any. it was Hoppes #9 gun oil. He was an amateur gunsmith and the stuff was embedded in his skin.

People rent them with stolen credit cards & ID and then fail to take them back...........stealing 'bikes to order is big business in Europe, & BMW's, Trumpets, Dukes & Harleys(?) are top of the shopping lists! :(:

However lots of good sized dealers will hire out bikes, to people they know,or on recommendation etc..........

Are you here 2002 or 2003? (Need to save up my beer vouchers):smile6

It's been confirmed that Moness House Estate, Aberfeldy is the place for the week of 5-30 to 6-6-2003, plus another week either before or after, depending on the golf schedule.

A personal first, I have never planned a vacation this damn far ahead.

First pint is on me Dutch :beer pencil in the dates

Whats with this namby pamby golf business?

Get yourself a GS and RIDE around the course!! :evil

Otherwise, Aviemore is the pits itself but great scenery and roads roundabout.

Aberfeldy, on the otherhand, is quite delighful (needs a few GS's ripping up the countryside :rolleyes to make it perfect!). Methinks SWMBO would prefer it there at it is nearer to the golf courses if you must ruin a good walk.

Keep us all posted about the dates and we'll give you a good welcome. (forget the beers, let's taste some Malt :beer )

it is a grand sport, chap! it's much tougher to make that little ball go where one wants it to, than one thinks :nod

Dutch may assist me with a bike rental when there. And a GS would be fun!!

will do. I'm fond of a good Malt or an ale :1drink
