I’ve been ingesting too much news the last few months. Covid 19, inject disinfectant, protests, defund the police, presidential election, wildfires, climate change, rake the forest floor, supreme court justices, yada yada, WE ARE AT EACH OTHER'S THROATS!! Can’t take it. Time for a reset.

    Bro,
Did you buy a new bike and is that luggage is see on it? Were you excommunicated from the ADV-F church? I feel like I just figured out how the world works and then this.

This is perfect timing! I'm currently on a Utah trip planning binge to give me something other than impending doom to focus on. I also just finished up a refresher on the gospel of Desert Madness, and associated Odysseys :*sip*. I can officially say that I have now crossed over into the ways of the ADV-F, am leaving the chair behind, and am allowing the Roost Lord to guide me :pimp.

    Following along!

Oh no, nothing like that. I am still the de facto leader and preach the ADV-Fundamentalism gospel. That’s our buddy Swag on the 701 with too much $h!t. He’s new to ADV and has a few things to learn.

I feel your pain. Careful to not overthink it. ADV-Fs generally roll with no plan. Concentrate on making sure the bike is ready. I've seen riders with excruciatingly planned tracks and spreadsheets for gear and food. Don't do that. Let it unfold organically.

You can’t claim things didn’t go according to plan if you never had a plan to begin with. - Joe Motocross

Oh F*CK yeah; now this is much needed relief from everything you listed above. I've grown disgusted with us as Americans, myself included at times. 2020 just needs a hard reboot.

@Joe Motocross - very much looking forward to this ride. Given you're on the big girl, it looks like this is going to be high mileage and long range? Curious to see the Thor croffee cup surface again, thought that met its demise a while back. Killer sunset shot man.

    Bring it :D :D

Funny you mention that. Stay tuned.

Yep, doing a bit more distance on the big bikes.
