You did talk to me, you fuck.
Is it just me, or do we all think that they practice this at home, in front of a mirror?
"Honey, your eyes aren't wide enough..."
"Ben, open your mouth slightly more..."
Totally a thing that happens, I bet.
I guess if you show up in a truck a half hour early, you don't get yer pic taken. I'm pretty sure the temp dropped 30 degrees by the time I got to Random Lake.
The missus hugs all you that needed hugs back. She completed the course with no get offs and her only complaint was riding behind slow people in the rocks. Sounds like she is to to trail riding now.
Thanks for putting this together Cannon. Sorry you didn't get to have a few pints of that strawberry lager.
My humblest apologies. I owe you a Miller Chill.
Bud light lime is vastly superior.
It scared me to type it.
Reading is hard.
So when is this here deal going on??
2nd Tuesday of next week.
Sweet!! I'll be up Nordt Monday through Wednesday!! I'll try to catch both Tuesday's!!
It looks like a good time was had, and I'd have much rather been there, or anywhere than a hot paper mill watching the slowest machinist in the world.
I'll be at [email protected] over Mother's Day weekend if anyone wants to give me a big hug.
OK folks, let's talk about the spring meet and greet.
This time I thought it might be fun to jazz it up a bit beyond what we usually do. That is, if there is interest.
What I am potentially looking at is doing something at the old American TV store site in Pewaukee (east where we usually go in Delafield).
The place now has the following facilities:
Meeting at this location would allow the usual beer and sandwiches but would also allow those that are interested to get involved with some fast electric indoor go-karts and/or some well developed laser tag. Check out the websites for more info.
It could be possible to schedule our own race series among our group. Or we could just wing it. Same could be true for laser tag. Or people could just visit the burger bar for the usual camaraderie.
If there is interest, I'd be looking for some help to manage some components of this get-together. For example, C Squared has a keen interest in karting and he could probably volunteer to check out the details and organize a ride or race series if people were interested. I'd also be looking for someone to handle any potential laser tag event and participants. I'll do the usual coordination for the general get-together.
So, SOUND OFF in this thread if you might be interested in karting and/or laser tag to see if we should continue to explore this. There is no doubt it will be a blast.
The alternative might be to continue at the Brewhaus for have a similarly structured get-together at a similar facility elsewhere.
And yes, I know we haven't arrived on a date for this yet . . .
So what do you think?
"Well Bryan, I think it is a great idea. I know I would enjoy a round of laser tag (paintball without the welts) and it would be great for Cory to arrange for a short race series for our group. Even without a race series, it would be fun to spin a few laps. It seems like it would be a wonderful time and since it is all indoors we aren't too concerned about the weather. I glanced at the menu and there were a lot of great sandwiches there. All in all, it looks like it would be a great time. Looking forward to more details as things develop, but count me in!!!!"
Thank you Bryan, I am interested but probably not in racing, just visiting and eating.
What about burning a hole through someone with a laser?
I'm a solid maybe.
