Welcome to the official thread for this great event.

The first annual SeaBee1 Memorial Ride will be held on December 6th 2014

The day will begin with breakfast at Ike's in Wickenberg at 7am where Don's wife Keri will be our guest of honor. The ride will begin at 9am and will be a B level ride, tracks will be available a few weeks before the ride and there will be many bail out points for those who do not want to ride the entire 80 miles.

We will post a riders list here in this post however we invite any and all riders, guests and friends who want to attend the breakfast to please join us in celebrating Don's life and the friendship he gave us all.

We will also be posting up some items that will be auctioned off via silent auction and a Paypal account where donations can be made with all monies (100%) being donated to Don's wife Keri.

I knew Reidy008 would get this official thread going.

This is going to be a great ride and fun times. Just the way Seabee1 would have wanted it to be. :clap

My lovely wife is in for breakfast & riding in the RAZR with Roger

Staging at the Safeway 1999 W Wickenburg Way, (Hwy 60) Wickenburg, AZ. It's on the corner of 60 & Vulture Mine road. Park in the NW corner away from the store. We plan to leave there at 9am.

    Big E, what's the address/directions to the NEW IKE'S?

ETA, I'm not Big E, nor do I play him on TV.

    That being said:

The new Ike's is (will be) right on the main drag in downtown. At the roundabout, avoid the turn towards the bypass and head into town.

    222 E Center, Wickenburg, AZ 85390

There's lots of parking out back.

Drew, Brad & I rode the planned route today so we'd know what the rains have done & to better plan. The main ride is 60 miles from truck to truck & took us ~3.5 hours with frequent breaks to look at the trail & discuss options.

The three of us agreed this is a B level ride, some sand in the 1st section but it comes & goes. The second section starts as easy fun stuff, with some sand wash & some rocky ravines to negotiate later on. A B level rider should have no worries even on a bigger bike. Toward the end of the second loop there is a B- or B+ choice. Some of the group may want to go right & follow Big E to Morristown for a mostly easy ride to the river.
Others will choose to turn left :evil

The rains have everything really green, gorgeous scenery in both directions.

Drew, take the +1 off my name. That meant I agreed with the previous poster, not that I'm bringing someone. Count me in for Big E loop and breakfast if I can make it that early.

Wow, 27 already signed up!:clap Lt's see if we can make it 100!:deal

That would be awesome to see and be a part of.

Follow Scott's directions, the Hogone is still up and running as well.

My +1 is just for brekky, as it's my wife. If you all want to bring your's, it's totally ok.

I think Keri's Uncle's are going to be there as well, all 3 of them, they are triplets. And all names start with a K...:lol3

This is a super fun ride, come out and Honor Don!

I have ridden this route on my 690 with no problems at all, well, the sand was deep, but short at least.:D

Uncle Tom, I promise to park far enough away from that heathen you ride so they won't get into it again...:lol3
