Welcome aboard @SeatConcepts
How did you measure demand for something that you don't sell yet? The bike mfgs and Sargent sell lots of heated seats to the aging MC demographic.. Bet some of your your adv bike customers would be interested...
Thank you for the welcome! We've always been here but it was time to make an official account. :)
Current overall requests from our customer base either provides us with the fuel to invest in it right now or come back to it at a later time.
Just in time to see an official account.
Looking to get a DRZ400 seat, are there any inmate discounts/codes?
Also, I see you have now both gripper and low slip top finishes - would you have a picture of the two materials side by side? I'm curious how they compare in stiffness, comfort and grip.
Unfortunately we do not have any current discounts or promotions available. Here is a link that will provide you with up close photos of each material that we offer - https://seatconcepts.com/pages/materials-gallery.
Any plans for the new 850 BMW twins? After 3 of your seats, I'm happy to grab another one.
looking good and love to see an XL version for the Husky 701E.
good to see on this thread someone taking over the torch from mxbundy.
Need to develop one for 3rd Gen (2016+) SV650.
You mean like this?!
KTM 690 Enduro R (2008-2018) Comfort XL now available!
We do have that in the works! Stay tuned.
Is suede going to be an option for this? It isn't listed on the pull-down.
There will be more materials offered as more requests come in. Would you be interested in putting in an order for one?
Do you take in seats to recover? I had pinged your email awhile back about a KTM 620 RXC seat but none available (not much call for a 20 year old bike seat made only two model years lol).
What year are you referring to? Here is a link to our comfort option for a 620 - https://seatconcepts.com/collections/ktm/products/ktm-1998-07-620-640-lc4-enduro-supermoto
Right, those are for the enduro/super. The RXC was a dual sport and different .
Our apologies, Unfortunately we don't have anything that will fit straight off the shelf.
I'm in the process of researching seat options and will be ordering in February. The XL in suede would be at the top of my list.
Needing a tall Dakar seat for my 05 F650GS and debating the top material...should I also be waiting on a XL for this bike?
There are 4 options.
I have your gripper top and carbon side on my flat seat WR250R. This works well because the gripper hold me in place when stopping fast and yet I can still move.
I have your all carbon on my dished Vstrom seat. No issues of slidding as the seat shape holds me in place. I think the gripper might lock too much in place with a heavy dished seat.
Now on to this seat. It's kinda dished / kinda flat. Going to ride it everywhere. Standing up and down.
Care to compare and contrast the materials as far a grip and slip and feel to the rider?
I think carbon is the slipperiest and gripper is the stickiest? Has does black vinyl and enbossed fit in the mix as far as top material?
Anyone else have input on this shape seat and materials chosen?
Thanks...looking forward to another amazing SC seat!!!
