I was wondering about that....thanks for following through on that. Hope they get here by Friday. :)
Ironic that you mention the stand...the spring actually gave out and I'm having that replaced Thursday, but yes everything else is systems go.
the funniest part....trying to remove the bottom coolant hose with brute force...would not budge so Paul chimed in "think of all the guys that have wronged you" and well, eventually I got it off.
Alaska here I come.
Got the hose off thinking of all the guys that wronged you? That is rich. Can't wait for your arrival here. OK, maybe the scotch is talking. LOL. Ride safe.

I love working on the bike with Paul, he's got a rich sense of humor.
So...... You still making this trip ?
Lassen Park Hwy Closed till June 6th.
See you at D2D.
I was afraid of that and going to investigate today. thanks for the heads up.
44 it is then.
I'm in Redding and word was that they opened it for the big 3 day weekend and closed it to finish spring cleaning.
McRuss made me a very cute tiny URL for my spot tracker.
And I got my AT&T go phone connected for Alaska.
The last prep for a relay on my heated grips is done and the new spring on the center stand (still bangs around under the bike when I hit a bump, so if anyone has the Triumph Tiger centerstand and found a better spring, I'm all ears.)
Manzanita Lake Saturday night with Mario94901 (also on a Tiger) and hopefully a visit from Highplains Drifter
Is that your neighborhood? If so, too funny. I live on Dawnlight Ct. and there's also a Radiant, and Daybreak in our neighborhood as well.
The trick to that is gently grabbing it with a large pair of pliers and turning it first. You'll hear a pop and then it just slides off.Easy peasy
Hope to run into you somehow. My departure date to Alaska is still the same. If you carry a Spot (haha, just saw you did) pm me the link and password, I'll send you mine so you can find out if we are anywhere near each other.
Hmmm, I wonder how he did that, so far my friends and family all have to input a password in order to see where I am.
tinyurl.com or bit.ly both are very handy when trying to shorten long url's...
I recommend the website whereamiriding.com. It was designed by an inmate here, Strega. The nice thing about his site is once you register, it is easy to give someone your spot messenger url... oh, and it's free...
mine is, btw: macadamia.whereamiriding.com versus http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0jJVr3OYqCVYy0RXL6c1xQfdOfqqzqdq7 for the spot messenger website...
The other nice thing about his site is it holds the tracks for longer than the spot messenger site.
.....is cool too. S
SA Nancy - good luck with your ride... I'm sorry I had to bail from riding with you, but I cannot trust my health to adhere to a rigid schedule.
I wish you the best and have fun...
I created a shared page on my account and this way anyone with the link can find me.
Also PM sent!
I'm going to be impressed if you can actually stick to this schedule!
I'm not seeing any time to rest and kick back!
Me........ nah, probably not gonna work so good! Still I'll take this with me and maybe some of our days will collide!
Plenty'o kickin' back on the ferry's.
