NOTE: This is a different communicator than the SMH10R, that is an older version.

This is a Brand new, never opened, dual communicator set. SENA 10R-01D

Story: I bought this set back in Feb, and mounted one to my helmet for my ride to Death Valley for the nOObs rally. I subsequently crashed in the dirt, breaking the headset. Sent back to vendor for exchange, new one in hand, UNOPENED. I've decided to switch to a 10C Pro camera/comms setup. Wife doesn't want to ride with me, so no real use for the dual headset.

What I can say from my time with this headset is that the 10R is really nice, even better with the optional Sena remote. Battery life was as-advertised, about 10-11 hours w/constant chatter and music. You can purchase additional batteries if that's not enough. The volume/clarity was good, and with the optional app, you can adjust settings on the fly. Sena's gear can be a bit finicky, but once you update firmware/software and get the settings sorted, it's solid.

I paid $400 for these, your's for $290 to your door with no tax. Lower 48 via PayPal/Venmo.

I have lots of sales on here and on eBay as tech_amn. Pics posted!

Does this include both sets of speakers, mics, and mounting hardware?

Yep, everything in the retail box...there’s tons of different stick on and Velcro mounting options, as well as the clamps.

FWIW, with the exception of the battery holder, the "mounting hardware" for the 10R is just a bunch of velcro-type stickers, and the complete set is available from most Sena dealers for about $10.

This is what the included mounting hardware looks like:

I was wrong about the clamps, that is my bad...I was mixing up my other Sena stuff.

Also, the cheapest I can find these for sale is on the ‘Bay for $365 + tax. This is a pretty good deal!

Interested in trades for gear? I have a BUNCH of stuff I'm getting ready to list in the fleamarket - touring jackets, pants, boots, etc in sort of "average man size" and "very petite woman" size. I still need to take pics, but I have a spreadsheet started I could send you a list from. I'm in Olympia, by the way.

Unless you have some laminated goretex pants that would fit my stubby legs, probably not.

Pm me and I’ll take a look though. Thanks!

    PM coming your way.

I had been looking at the 10r and didn't realize there was also a 10r-01. Google isn't telling me what is different (though I do see that the -01 is more $$); do you know what's different/better about the new one?
