Off to the right (out of the frame) is Mauna Kea - 14000 ft ASL. It looked like the mountain had been wearing the cloud formation as a hat. The clouds are "lenticular". It was eerie --- a combination of lighting, the huge cloud structure overhead, and the quiet ... the birds and animals were silent and people were speaking in low voices. I stopped a couple of times on the way to work to watch it evolve. Made me want to blow off the day and find a hilltop. Late anyway.
