Anybody know what this is?
I thought initially it was a moth but by definition of the wings being up at rest this is a butterfly.
Moths apparently rest with their wings open. Also butterflies have long thin antennae unlike the feathery antenna on this moth. So, I'm pretty sure this is a moth, possible some kind of silk moth. Knowing where the photo was taken would help identification.

I've seen maybe 2-3 riding in this area.....always on the move though.
European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis), Lonjsko polje nature park, Croatia. Yesterday.
I honestly thought people would see them quite often that lived in that area. Just thought I was unlucky LOL
