Woke up to find this guy in my campsite in American Prairie Reserve in eastern Montana.
First shot isn't in sharp focus, but it surely was a majestic specimen. The second is better.
I caught this today, seems like the cow is enjoying watching the goat eat the hay on top of the pile.
Fushimi Lake, Ontario.
Mexico. He or she was trying to eat my saddlebag. I had a banana in there.
Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the seldom taken side roads:
I thought was quite an event to see right on the road like that, how often does that happen?
Well later on, on the other end of the road:
This was at the Smoky mountain visitors center, I guess these guys are feeling right at home.
Bohemian Waxwings, common as sparrows in the spring and fall as they migrate through the Alberta foothills.
Blue Heron I believe, feeding near White Rock Pier B.C.
I never looked through this thread some very nice photography
With the exception of the goat pics, all taken in my yard. Going out for a ride in the early morning here assures that some kind of animal will be in the yard to greet you....
Few more yard pics...
Night time has a lot of activity as well...
I was in Palo Duro Canyon a few years ago and this guy came to investigate the parked motorcycle:
No sooner had I taken these photos when a park ranger stopped to see if I was okay. I pointed out the turkey and he said, "Yeah, I know him. He runs this place and he ain't as nice as he looks."
Only in Texas.
The turkeys in our yard are afraid of nothing. Mean bastids, for sure.
A lizard in KTM colors.
Last weekend. Little guy was about to run across the road but turned at last second.
Caught this big fella fishing while biking from Trout Lake Bc to Kaslo. He was kind enough to stay really still while I took this.
