I've had turtle soup...pretty good. I usually just help them across the road anymore.

This little guy was a Musky-Rat Kangaroo in the Daintree rainforest. It's part of the Marsupial family. We originally thought it was a Wallaby, but comparing pics online found it wasn't.
It was hard to get a good photo of this beast, but this big guy was a Lace Goanna / Tree Monitor lizard. He was quite far up the tree, but moved very slow, and sounded pretty heavy actually. It made a lot of noise rustling across the ground. I'd guess it was over 4 feet long and indeed larger than most dogs, but seemed pretty harmless and stayed clear of our campsite.
This animal just came off the 22" Weber Master Touch kettle. 7.5 hours on a single heroic load of hardwood lump for the dry-rubbed, non-foil-wrapped bastard. Pecan chunks laying down smoke for the first couple hours.
The bike is slightly out of the shot, but it's there!

This one would be tender.
The best photo's are in your heart. The camera simply keeps track of them. I like your pics. Keep em on track.
Grass as far as the eye can see. Come on guys. Let's hang out the road.
