I'll let u know tomorrow, gotta check a couple things. Anything special needed to cross Shasta Dam,,, I saw one site stated valid DL and veh reg, but another said something about a permit from BoR? If yer asking about my 640,,, yeah got it last year during happier (but confused,,, long story) times. Do you know Matt?

Too damn funny,,, got the bike from a Matt down in bay area. I know lots of Daves, but probably not the one yer referring to,,, and yeah I know, "Dave's not here".

The permit or license I mentioned reading about were for crossing Shasta Dam, because I thought day use area lot was on west side of dam.

Cross the dam using driver license. No problem. 2 staging areas. I think one is East of the Dam and you can get there from Keswick.

The riding is still good. Still some snow in the highest places that don't get plowed.

Gonna be heading down from Eugene in a few weeks to Trinity Lake for the weekend and thinking of tossing the bike in the back of my truck....Anybody in that area possibly want to meet up and show me around for a few hours? (dirt/two-track/easier trial - still getting my feet back under me coming from street only). Thanks!!
