What sort of ride is this...adventure or dual sport? Have ridden that area with VTRA on their fall Shenandoah 500 event on KTM 350 XCF-W (sadly canceled in 2020) and do enjoy the area. Trying to figure out if my new KTM 890R is the right bike for this event?

I’ve been devised by the coordinator that the 350 would be the better choice

Thanks for putting this together. I did see that it is more for dual sports. Would it be easy to find some ADV routes in the area for a newbie 1200GS rider? If not that is fine, but wanted to check.
    Thanks!

Appears the moons aligning for me and bud to go. Would it be possible to get GPS routes to test and review?

This sounds like it might be doable for me this year. I’d be bringing a small camper and either my TW200 or Himalayan. Thinking the TW might be more fun?

I only have an 890R right now, but figure I'll make a reservation and try it out.
@patmo I'm NKY based also. Are you riding down there on the 8th?

I won’t be attending. It’s not really my rally. I put it up here as a favor to the Coordinator, Galen Diehl. Although I do know of a couple of people from Cincinnati/Dayton area that are planning to attend.

How or when would the GPS routes be available? Downloaded on site or sent out to those interested in attending?

I’ll be there, decided to bring the Himalayan so I could explore the area a bit more comfortably. I’ll have my toy hauler in the campground.
