*the title WILL be explained here shortly*

but bear (bare or bore) with me for a few if you will??

Today started out as many other reports do; a message to any and all beggin for company (misery loves it eh[IMG])... so call me misery yeah... since I am still wearing
    THE CAST"Sidi".

Unable to ride for myself, I have begged for others to take pity on me.. with my posting of Let's go see the Aspens??

So, today ended up being a slab ride over the face full o'dirt ride:D and I give THANKS to DUCK_PILOT for tempering me and my antics (all Sidi's fault).

DUCK_PILOT and his "Ducky" << uhm that was HIS naming..

He will have to include the route which we took. Pretty much I can remember but few: we passed up through Nederland, Berthoud's Pass, The Gold Mines and Casinos...

I can never forget when I eat.. so I do remmeber having lunch in Winter's Park
and here is a weird shot of lunch - has NOTHING to do with lunch..lol
    :huh

since I am brand new to Colorado.. and YELLOW IS my favorite color.... I love Aspens:clap.

It is looking like they are very close to full color in places. Some of the following pictures show sparce colors, yet vibrant in other places. I will be interested in pics taken in the same areas over the next couple of weeks... see the changes.

Pics here are in no particular order.... for now.
I believe this was just around Berthoud's pass:

They were in the direct sunlight... and in the middle of the gravel pit construction site[IMG]:cry:topes:pope

So.... on our way we go... as I admire myself once again in the reflection of the lid (uh ohhhh... Sidi is getting bored)

It was at this point I realized.. dang near EVERYTHING in Colorado was beautiful..... every thread in here (except JM) has beauty in it..... don't we get tired of it (NOOOOO)... but...<< hint hint...

So, after that episode of the thermal stench... I wanted to see... if I could find some beauty in the crapper??
My goal was to find the best Crapper with a view.... wanna play??

I gotta tell ya......this is one very *spirited* Lady to ride with. She passengers perfectly, but kept punching me in the ribs every time we approached a 'port-a-john'. :eek1 Woke up this morning with bruises.

I had a blast, and thank the Playful Muddy Lady for getting me off the couch, and on 'Lil Duckie for the ride. She is welcome anytime. Just need to get 'hold of the Broncos first, and see where they get those rib-protectors! :lol3

    Play nice, now!

    :roflyea.. something like that...

Before I left Atlanta, the job I had :rofl(oinkoink) required me to be out often. So I found it not only my duty but my OBLIGATION to find the best crappers around:D (comon... all you guys and gals saying EWWWwwwwww TMI TMI TMI:eek... it is a joke :huh ya.).

I found some of the finest one's in hotels, had my favorites... which I played a game with (of course). It seemed every time I left/returned to this one... they folded the edges to the TP....so...... I would continuously go back a FEW times just to see how often they did that...you tax dollars WELL spent [IMG]

I guess you can say, I have a crappy sense of humor.. and this thread is going down the pipe....hehehe

The most scenic outhouse that I've found in Colorado is the one on Longs Peak, near the Chasm Lake fork. It's really a privy with no roof and the walls come up about chest high or so, with a great view of the Diamond. It's for those who can't take a break from the sight seeing while doing their nasty business. Behold the wonders of nature while answering its call, and make sure to bring your camera - just don't drop it!

My pics are backed up on a hard drive somewhere but here's a link that purports to be the view from the privy:

If I can find my pics I'll contribute them to this most worthwhile thread...

NICE....I wonder how long it will be before this gets pushed into JM... hehe (shhhhh).

HEY DOES ANYBODY KNOW WTF IS UP WITH PHOTOBUCKET?? *ewwww I feel a verbal beating abt to take place... I know I know.. use Smugmug.... I will.. but for now, my pics are lost in PhotoCRAPbucket.

problem: when I log in username/pswd, the next page that comes up is blank, with only a "0" at the top left.
I emailed customer svc (ha joke they are) only to receive that I must have a pop-up blocker on my computer. Now, I used "mozilla" AND "explorer"; occasionally I get lucky and it will pop up...ie last night when I downloaded ALL of my 189 pictures to it. I cannot get them NOW!!!!!!

    Any ideas??
