Just picked up a nice used SM-R 950 rear shock . Mostly for the 130-215 spring to try in my SE.
Besides the spring rate, what are the differences between the two shock absorbers on these models ?
    Thanks in advance!

The sm shock is basically a shorter version of the se shock by about 15-20mm.
The tail height falls down by about 60mm on my se with the sm shock fitted.
Maybe the smr shock is slightly longer than the sm though and slightly more stiff in the valving.

Valving is softer / faster on the SM Shock compared to the SE. And as Mousitsas stated, its internal spacer makes it shorter than the SE. Same Spring length as you know...
