Here's our two Honda TRX250X's at the Oregon Dunes back in September. They are a blast in the sand.

Any of you guys use yours for snow plowing?

My new house has lots more driveway than I want to shovel, parts are steep too. I was considering a cheapish 4wd quad w/ plow.
I might also use it for hauling a chainsaw and stuff.

My Polaris Mv7 has been pushing a 60" Moose plow for more than a decade. I keep thinking that it should have a set of chains but the run-flat Goodyears have not gotten stuck (in snow!) yet. I pretty much parked the snowblower after getting the Polaris, the first time I plowed and came back inside without having had all the snow blow back in my face was an epiphany.

Just back from a few days in the Haliburton Forest in Ontario. Beautiful spot with over 300 kms of groomed trails they let ATVs on. Went mid week there was nobody there, we saw 8 sleds in 2 days. Rented a cabin back in the woods and hauled our gear in. Will be back.

I have a Kawasaki 650 Prairie with a plow set up. I live in a very residential area with many
older widows. Most have driveways with RV pads so they are all triple wide. It gets a good
work out on any heavy snow day.:knary

Cool!....guess those tracks are studded.....why wouldnt you roll it instead of sliding it?...or does it drop when you get where your gonna fish?....yeah, after further thought..there arent any drag marks behind it....think before you post. :nod :rofl

No studs, I actually encounter glare ice very seldom. The tracks on it take a little while to get going, but on a lake your dead level with no hills to climb, lol. I can scoot the ATV easily to the side and augers some holes to create some wet icy shards that the tracks will grab and get me going. Once going it's all good even if I stop for a short time.
