Front plastics and fork guards are actually painted, stickers only on rear plastics.

I think I would paint my front-side plastics black in some appropriate manner prior to adding new graphics. Maybe top with some clear coating as well. That way the white doesn't show from around the new graphics which I find tends to take away, in some small measure, from the new look. I'm not a body guy so I don't really know how to effectively do any of that - rough up OEM slightly around edges, (and beyond), paint a flat? black, and finish with a semi-gloss clear?

Once aftermarket plastic kits hit the market this will become moot for those who feel the same. Swapping OEM fronts will only get you an orange background so far, but not black.

Pretty sure Crispy has those flags. https://crispydesigns.co.uk/
Also if you're looking to make a custom-kit, check with him - he made custom kits for both my 690 (2x) and my SE super happy with the results.

I like this one best of the 3. The first one had two different tones of orange, and the last one is too busy IMO.

    This looks awesome.

@turbofan790 I agree. Although I don't want white. I have a husky 350 in white. Looking to go black but not all the way. Just the tip.
The other one I Posted looks meh, but there just isn't that much out there yet. Which leads me to the post below I was just putting together.

Iv'e been looking at graphics from other bikes to help visualize.
450's have a crazy amount of options. Really like this
    [IMG]

With a combination of: I could not find one single image on google of a 790 Adventure R with a carbon scr1 exhaust (nowwhat has a duke? can, which is what started me looking into SC)

Also with the limited amount of specific 790 stuff, not too much has simple blacks and orange color schemes. I went copy and paste crazy in preview(Mac) :lol3 Which isn't meant to be used like this and I've never tried. I'm not ready to learn photoshop. So these are very rough. Just a visualizer tool.

    Stock for reference:

    Behold, my mess

tank lobes incorporated would help a ton, which most people aren't including so far. But curved surface is beyond me.

Grey front plastics to compare against black

    Nav tower, cuz why not

Then started grafting on 690 fairings and decided to stop :D

I actually had fun messing around. Felt like a kid.

That's a really cool way to incorporate a flag. I like it.

Did you have a shop print up a decal or a graphic for you? Can you share how you went about that?

I'd love to do something similar on mine (when it arrives).

the only problem with crispy is that he cannot use the KTM logo due to extremely tight copyright restrictions, otherwise the quality and material are top notch (have used twice)

Not sure why you’d want a KTM logo on a flag though...

That's pretty standard, actually. Nearly all graphics companies won't use the KTM logo. I just had some done for my 259 XC-W TPI and it was a no-go using the KTM logo.
