Good luck with the race, I look forward to seeing that on Strava!
Yup and trailer
Start here for the first 200 mile version, then here for the 11 mile version...
@Ridge what a great ride report! Makes my old bones feel jumpy!!!
Epic! Thanks for sharing that. How are you able to get on a bike saddle with balls that huge?
I have one of those cool saddles with the cutout in the center...
Put a set of 700c x 38 tubeless CX tires on my rigid 29'er. Fast rollin'.
Presto! instant CX bike
I'll ride my 29er with CX mud tires on it in really muddy races. The extra clearance comes in very handy. The single ring isn't nearly as much a handicap in the slow races as it is the fast/dry races.
After about a dozen rides I've come to the realization that the Brooks Cambium Carved "all weather" C17 is not the perfect saddle for me. It was not terrible by any means, just not right for me. After about 20 miles I started getting a recurring pain in the right hip area.
I just swapped back to a gel Selle Italia and all is well. I'll be getting the like new Brooks posted up in FM in the next couple of weeks for a heavily discounted price in case anyone is looking to try one out. If not, it'll go on the E-bike or another Hybrid in the stable.
@CA_Strom -- sending DM on Brooks ..
You can't just drop that without giving some details!
Nice looking rig, but I just don't get having a long travel front fork with a hardtail?
Local trail in MD
There are some great Ti welders and history in Colorado... Bingham, Dean, Moots, Sata, Funk, Black Sheep, etc.
Got this in for my up and coming riding buddy, 14" Prevelo for greenway and neighborhood riding
