    Put a set of 700c x 38 tubeless CX tires on my rigid 29'er. Fast rollin'.

    I'll ride my 29er with CX mud tires on it in really muddy races. The extra clearance comes in very handy. The single ring isn't nearly as much a handicap in the slow races as it is the fast/dry races.

    After about a dozen rides I've come to the realization that the Brooks Cambium Carved "all weather" C17 is not the perfect saddle for me. It was not terrible by any means, just not right for me. After about 20 miles I started getting a recurring pain in the right hip area.

    I just swapped back to a gel Selle Italia and all is well. I'll be getting the like new Brooks posted up in FM in the next couple of weeks for a heavily discounted price in case anyone is looking to try one out. If not, it'll go on the E-bike or another Hybrid in the stable.
