Do you remember the BMW shop that was in Kamloops back in the 70s? Martin Doyle and Peter McEwan?

I was riding through Watkins Glen, NY yesterday on the way up to see Turnbull Restorations near Syracuse. I spied a sign on the left side of Main Street that proclaimed the worlds smallest diner and marked its location on my GPS. After the Turnbull visit, I went back to Watkins Glen to photograph the diner. Sure enough, I spotted the little joint and pulled into the car lot driveway of the local Dodge dealership. As I dismounted, I heard a gentleman say, “You can’t park there.” I turned to see a local policeman and explained I just wanted a photo and would move on quickly. No problem . . . I got a couple of shots. I asked the officer if he’d dined there and the said, “Sure, many times.”
I inquired, “When’s the best time to get a seat, breakfast or lunch?”
The officer said, “Not a mealtime . . . you’ll never get a seat.”
