Notice any difference in fuel consumption with the 16 tooth sprocket ?
Playing around at the Enduro X park on the T7s:
Having a blast. Its like riding a big dirt-bike with a honkin motor that does the pavement great as well.
Just got mine saturday. Went blasting through the ANF on monday, rode about 300 miles on forest roads and a couple more gnarly roads. Bike is fantastic!
I didn't even think of MPG. 16T was to tame the high strung gearing. I haven't yet run a tank of fuel yet as this ride was only a 200 miler and fueled up at the 70 mile mark, but it didn't seem much of a difference from this identical ride a week earlier on the 15T.
Hey Octo, Is this still around the Vegas area? I have plans of leaving my bike in Vegas over a winter so I can fly in and ride midway through to break up our long northern snowy season.
Yep that is in the Nelson Hills, about 30 minutes southeast of McCarran airport...
Other than a few moab area pics, I think all my pics are within an hour or two of Vegas. Winter riding here is great!
Keeping the T7 off road thread moving, I scrubbed in some new rubber today...
Great pics and a great area for riding - i envy you guys for being able to ride throughout the year even in your soaring summer temps.
I guess you must be happy with the new pirelli scorpion rally tires. i had the same on mine on ome rims. Traction was good and even on tar you could lean the t7 nicely (for my needs).
would not mind some more pics of your riding - i will contribute some of my area on salted winter roads, haha.
Will be interested to hear how long those Scorpion Rally's last on the T7. Am thinking about them for when I replace the stock tires.
I'll keep you posted, but not expecting great life out of them, based on what I've read...
A few more from today...
Couple more from New Years Day. A little sand to start the year off right.
These guys were lounging in Boulder City earlier in the day
I go to Vegas, Overton and Laughlin for work and plan to bring my bike when i can and usually stay in Boulder, Care to show me around a bit ?
Yeah, if I’m in town, let’s ride!
Had a nice ride yesterday between downpours. Living by the doppler radar tower helps see the openings. Not really off-road but plenty of opportunities for more challenging rides if a guy wanted.
Turned around here.
From a while back.
First 2 pics look like zero fun on stock tires to me. :)
