There's some bed side stiffeners on the market that may be useful for you. I don't have any so I cant offer personal recommendation but I have seen them as a common mod for people putting heavier loads in the bed.

And these might be a little weak for your needs but I love my Erickson 04418 Pro Series Red 1" x 10' Retractable Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps. Makes strapping cargo down easy.

BTW Can't remember if the off-road includes LED bed lights standard. If not the 2020+ lights are super easy to add.
