Great videos Walter!
Can’t wait for the rest.
Happy new years everyone. I'm thinking the Altai region could be the most understated places of beauty in the world whether motorbiking or not.
Thanks @Colebatch, looks great on a big screen.
Was watching episode 14 on the TV and my girlfriend was watching along. At the end she asked "do you have more of these episodes?".
Turns out she likes them as well! ...so we watched episode 1 to 13 again.
Now she's hooked too, thanks
Btw, great choice on the music. The ratio between music and engine noise is spot on as well
I think you could. I am not a fisherman and find it easier to just buy my food (I personally dont even take a stove - but buy stuff I can eat without cooking)
Walter, this is so good that I'm sending the link to my friends that don't even ride.
The Altai is on my bucket list. By the way, this is really well done. Thank you.
What tankbag die you use? I would like one.
I love these trips. I am watching another series from a guy from Bulgaria making a ride to Mongolia. I find these entertaining, facinating and a workable substitute while I sit bundled in blankets staving off the 8 deg f weather here. I wish I was riding, but these help!
I think that "tank bag" will end up costing more than the bike, and be much more painful in the end. (which isnt always a bad thing, so I've been told)
any link to the other series
That pictures makes me reconsider seeing more of Russia
I dont want to take away from this thread by posting another series in it. I would send you a PM but it wont let me. But really, you can search YouTube for Motorcycle Trips and get TONS of videos.
That "tank bag" seems to be quite maintenance intense. ;-)
Still no tankbag replica , is This a gigant loop?
I see it has two intertubes. Just a matter of time till they are flat.
@Colebatch , Walter do you have a write-up of your altitude record setting ride? As a 70° Berg owner, of course I need to read it! Thanks for this report, the DVD, and now the YouTube vids.
Smth like Andes Moto Extreme if memory serves.
and video at:
There wasnt a ride report in the classic ADV sense ... but there is a lot of material in those links above
Great story! I wasn't aware of this.
