Thanks, BLucare, appreciated.
The top two pics are not my bike ... Mine has a gold frame and black swingarm. The top bike have a silver frame and swingarm covered with a black sticker and a plain white front fender. It was an earlier one Lyndon built that I liked the colours on... So I took those colours a bit further. And my front fender is much more stickered up in black and gold Will post a link to new bike later (am on mobile phone now)
There is a bike build thread of the bike... With some higher resolution pics here
Ah, my apologies, Walter! It's listed on Lyndon's site in the same section as your bike, and I didn't think to look that closely.
This must be the right one, then:
Walter, anymore Sibirsky episodes?
Really!!! The last one left me salivating. Absolutely amazing scenery. Some of the trails were a little scary for a softy like me.
Yes! Pictures of Boris can be found here:
Have you gotten to the point where your able to sell the full track, including notes and waypoints? Is this still the plan?
I'd trade some of my beer money for it.
That happens. :)
Better late than never. Episode 15 ...Mongolia is up.
I am going to apologise in advance for this one. We were rained on heavily and rushed in our efforts to get across Mongolia, and there was almost no video footage. Just a couple of reels of helmet cam footage. So this episode is not great but it still allows us to have some continuity in the story at this point.
Yessir, thats him!
Apologies. Been a bit tied up at the start of this year and finding time has been a challenge. Added to that when I reached the Mongolia episode I was scratching my head for a long time trying to work out how to make a watchable episode out of the limited footage we had. So I put off starting it for weeks .... until getting inspired to make a go of what I had available after watching Lyndon in Dakar for 2 weeks. I am not sure I succeeded in making something watchable but its as good as its gonna get and we need to move on and get to the Siberian footage and the next part of the ride.
Good to see you back on track, mate
I was also watching Lyndons films from Dakar. Great stuff.
Sent from my Commodore 64
Another awesome video Walter. With each and every episode I get more and more envious of your travels. Please keep up the great work.
Thanks Walter. No apologies needed. It was an inspiring update.
I really enjoyed that episode...
Excellent episode No apologies needed, Walter was very enjoyable, and just as good as the rest. Looking forward to the rest!
Riding this daily distances on that kind of road - this is a real iron butt!!
would have liked more pics/video of the wheel bearing fiasco, but otherwise a solid episode. Keep em comin
