Stay positive Leigh. It will all end well i'm sure.
Are you now on the tablets for Chemo?
Just looked at all your built pictures. Boy-oh-boy you do good work. Love the build
Well that’s not good to hear, hope you have a better time with the next lot of treatment.
Good luck with it.
Hi guys, treatment still on going. Feeling like I've been hit by a bus!! Thanks for your support
Did you get the number of the bus?
Thought it might help getting it's timetable.
Then you'd know when to get out of the way.
Praying for you mate.
Geez those two scare me let alone what they would do to cancer
Hang in there .
Us juniors of the sidecar world need blokes like you around to learn from
Looks like they might know a thing or two about prostates
Hi guys, just finished one more of Chemo, next round soon. Was left flat as, due to infection and a 9 day headache where I just had lay flat, not fun at all. Building strength up slowly, so no KLR work at all. Have had great support from family and friends, including you guys. Thanks again
You hang in there. Us Leigh's gotta stick together.
hang tough, man ... you got this.
YES mate I don't want any less Leigh's on this planet at the moment thanks very much. Thanks again.
All the best to you Leigh.
I am in literal awe of the OP, both for his engineering work and for his courage in the face of his disease. God bless, sir, get well and ride far …..
Another round of Chemo done, went better this time, it was a different treatment this round. My distraction this time was building a 34 year old KTM!!!!! plastic model. I bought it around the same time I got my 1987 KTM 350EXC, loved that engine sooo much. Anyway it helped with soaking up some time, they are long days/nights in hospital. Back for another round of Chemo soon. MRI was done on Wednesday, so waiting for those results and go from there. Model needs some paint on the seat and exhaust, then I'll let my grandson have it for his room. Cheers Leigh
So did sniffing glue help with the effect of the chemo? Glad it wasn't as bad this time - beat that cancer!! I look forward to seeing more progress on your sidecar build.
Hi Neptune03, if only sniffing a bit of glue would make a difference!!!!! Na, it was real good just doing something. Still waiting on MRI results. Thanks for your thoughts. Cheers Leigh. Yes I want more progress on the KLR too
Good idea Leigh. I wish I had thought of doing that when I was in hospital.
Glad the chemo was better this time around. Hopefully will be over soon and you can get back into the outfit.
Thanks Alex, yeah I've had a mate you has spent a fair bit of time in hospital with Chemo etc. He has given me some ideas that I changed a bit to suit me. I'm glad the Chemo went better but as you know it goes a bit different each round. I'm going to get a couple mate (creative types) to give me a hand with a few items.
