We were in that race on a 250 Honda outfit quite a bit behind these guys. They were fast on lightweight hacks.

Same wheels I have on my timber framed home built trailer.
I have been wondering if or rather how to fit either scooter or go kart brakes to those rims.
    Random yes?

Going to put the axle under the leaf springs. Bit more ground clearance. $_1.jpg

Not a Kawasaki motor. It is a Chinese copy of a Kawasaki motor made by CF Moto . Do they have an agreement with Kawasaki to "clone " the motor ? I don't know , but , they been making them for several years now.

    Any pics?

Are you in the Simi Valley area? If so, there is a group of us former racers meet every Monday night at the Old Susana Cafe (former Walck Inn) from 5 to 8. Preston Petty joins us most of the time.

No pics. I may have a pic of that outfit from Elsinore the year before.
I live in San Jose so I don't think I can make it to the meeting, would like to though.

I for one would like to see pictures of any of the rigs you built. You rebuilt an Airhead transmission for me 2+ decades ago and I remember looking at one you built at that time. It was a real work of art.

Yes, why would it break apart mid air, with no real forces on it. If it was gonna break it would most likely break on the impact of landing. Possibly it would break hitting the jump, but I don't think it would fly parallel like that.

I have drooled over the all aluminum sidecar rig for years. I have some pics I found on the net years ago. Still one of my all time favorites.
