I bought these a few months ago because I was going to do an enduro event and thought I was getting into dirt bikes. Long story short, the event was cancelled this year, and I did not get a dirt bike, and these boots are too much boot for my typical adventure riding, and I won't end up wearing them again. Worn once.

I bought them for the stiff sole for long stretches of standing up, the high level of protection, as well as the fact that most/all of the parts are individually replaceable, including the soles, which made them seem like a good long-term buy. Here's a good review article on them:

I wore them one time, for a full day of enduro riding, and they were as described in the article. I definitely could feel the benefit of the hard sole when stand-up riding, it took noticeably less energy, and you can tell right away when you put them on they offer a high degree of protection. They fit under my Klim Badlands pants just fine. I didn't crash them or damage them, although they have a couple of rub marks (pictured).

Again, these are great boots if you want a high level of protection, a long life with the option to repair the boots, and a firm sole for ease of stand-up riding. It's just more boot than I need for my big bike riding. If I were going to get a dirt bike, I'd definitely keep them. Bought a few months ago from Revzilla for $574. Asking $400 shipped, or reasonable offer. Check the size chart here:

How is sizing on these? I have an original pair of these boots and had to go up 1 1/2 sizes from my street shoe size.

what is your street shoe foot size for comparison?

    thanks
