You can still get a motel room the day you show up? No reservations?

I know Seig will be camping.
I'm planning on being at the campground for a while that evening.

Thinking about trying out my Hammock for the night. Set up the tent for Fri and Sun, but do the tree thing on Sat night. Does anyone know if there are good hammock trees at the Sat night stop?

Very possibly....... they hold 20 rooms for the RR till the last day, but the RR generally doesn't need all of them. But .... you could reserve a room and always cancel it the day before for no $$.

Looked to me like the Saturday camp had some trees that may work. IMHO And we have lots at the club for Friday and Sunday.

You leave when you want, no schedule. :deal This is an unorganized non-event, and I aim to keep it that way. :deal It's 233 miles of back roads on Saturday, some will do it in 5 hours some will need 12 haha. I' won't set my alarm, I'll start after we eat breakfast and I dam well feel like it. Some will be out by 7, some won't start till 9, some will short cut, some will put in "bonus" miles (wrong turns), some will finish by 3, some never will.

Packed up and already ready!! Able to get all the gear on the bike without needing panniers. If any of you are wondering about that tail bag, and no it isn't a suitcase, I bought it form Lowe's. It is an AMP tool case for $49.00. You would have thought they had made specific for a KLR, but I guess the same could be said about a milk crate. I do highly recommend it!! It is hard mounted with an old Harley's Only parking sign I had from a former life. Looking forward to meeting ya-all in a couple weeks.

Hey BigDog, the landing gear has healed up nicely. No more trying to split logs with my foot. Ready to roll!!

Fresh knobbies mounted, oil changed and air filter cleaned. Other than packing some camping gear and loading tracks I’m ready to go.

Really looking forward to this ride.
