you'll have a story to tell for years. BTDT myself on a "dry" lake bed, outside the reach of a truck and rope.

I was suprised to run into snow just north of fish camp, everything at miami trails is open,I have been working on trails north of miami creek, one really nice single track has a lot of large pine down on it,one was well over 3' wide, ill need to bring my large stilh next time.I'm lucky if i can clear the single track with my arborist saw,its light and fast to use.

at this current temps the snow will melt quickly, I hope we get some more rain to keep the dust down and the dirt moist.the snow is mainly on higher elvation trails that have a lot of tree shade, everthing else is drying up quick.I havent been to the east side yet, i usually hit that area when i'm done clearing my favorite trails on the west side.plus i assume the east side will have a lot of snow up high.
