Not unless you bring a chainsaw with you. Lots of work to do based on the damage that I've seen.

If i had a chainsaw I would be happy to help

But isn't that what the forest service is supposed to be doing ?

I agree. They should be doing that all over the Sierra National Forest. I'm sure they do a large amount of trail clearing but they don't really have staff and funds to clean out every single trail. Pretty much all of the good trails around here are maintained by the riders and the Stewards of the Sierra.

I agree with curtis, that sums it up. the stewards of the sierra national forest are awesome. If we waited for the forest service to clear trails, they would not get done.

I gotcha. We're all in this together as offroad riders.

The silver lining is that the Forest Service allows for the trails to be self maintained. They could easily just try to shut down everything and block access completely like they have done in many other areas.

I'd much rather them ignore an area all together than enforce some bogus closures.

I completely agree with those points, its much better to have them be self maintained

we should all pitch in to keep these riding areas open :D

Took my brother to Jose basin Saturday so he could check out his new bike and learn the area a bit. Thinking of Miami this weekend. He's totally new so no really tough stuff.
