OKAY now, to all you ADVRIDERS that didn't show up. Hurty was there on his bike and was the only rider who stayed Sat. night.:clap Also, Almost all the ADV ladies that chimed in, showed up. The ADV dudes seemed to have whoosed out. Lets hear it for the ladies.:clap

Yes Gilly I took some pics, but as you will see I was really just pushing buttons. :becca

Starting off the morning late and with little sleep it was nice to break outa the fog on 33.

Met up with Sopas (actooly I found her hiding in the back of the Shell station, I'm sure hoping I wouldn't find her) and had relaxed pace ride north. Here she is just...

before coming upon a pink A roadster. I'd never seen a pink one before. :D

I took a couple of pics up on hwy 49, but they didn't turn to well.
We arrived at camp a bit later than hoped/expected,
said some hello's, got dissed on the cooky's, set up camp, set out successfully in search of food, came back in time campfire fun. :kumbaya

Suz showed up, I didn't recognize her at first with her clothes on. :D This my favorite pic of her as she promptly pops a sausage in her mouth.

Jeff trying to do like his kids requested and not squirt.

    Suz, happy he didn't

The other side of the fire staying prepared just in case.

the guy on the right is Sap, a n00by, a mouthy bastard, balls the size of a box of animal crackers and a great sport.

Ok where was I? I'm running short on my good shots of the weekend. Oh yea, Santa grilling up late nite cheese sammy.

My parting shot was to be of Mongox styling in his slicker but ended up with him leading his harem off into the forest. :deal

I need to figure out the proper setting (prolly even a new one) so the camera will just shoot and not do the stroby focus thing. :evil

And yes even in damp crappy weather a good time can be had and it's definitely worth the effort to show and see y'all.

ps: next time out the tent won't be leakin' so I'll have no excuses to not stay the duration. :freaky It is too humbling to be out Danger Ranger'd by Hurty. :baldy

Great ride to the Big Trees ...a little wet..... Great food/booz/people/booz/fires/booz etc...etc. I was taken aback when everyone (except: mongo and rockintroll) left Sat AM. If I didn't know better I'd call youse all WIMPS. I stuck around and even took a hike (40 yrds to the head). I actually saw a Big Tree (stump) as I left the Camp area. The ride home was delightful (125 miles in 3 1/2 hours) did i mention the WIND AND SIDEWAYS RAIN. All in all an interesting trip. I was glad to see the noobs were tougher than the old dogs some were even a lot prettier. I enjoyed myself and had a fantastic time at the Kermit races.
Does it rain in Death Valley in January??
PS Gilly post the pic of GillaPup
PPS emptied a large bucket of water from my gear when I got home:D :1drink

OK, due to the striking resemblance, we know who the father was, but that begs the question..
