After I entered Canyonland NP I just booked it up Shafers and then down Gemini Bridges back to the 'coolness of a Moab' hotel.

I also got rim locks Front and Rear.
Hopefully, I won't lose too much performance in sand.

Hopefully you've made it home safe & sound Imu.

Liked seeing the video with a bit of snow on the ground, get's me thinking what the WRT must be like after a hard snowfall.

You can never post too many Moab pics my friend, the area never get's old, of course you kinda know that!

Mama always warned about not having a clean......... windshield before any drive.
I have not figured out a safe mount for the roof top (sunroof) or on side rear view mirrors. Looking for suggestions including DIY.

EDIT: found this magnetic mount with a string attached for added safety. Its been ordered. I think it will be perfect for a sunroof location. I am usually not going faster than 40-50MPH in most scenic areas.

Hi Imu!! I’ve greatly enjoyed following your posts on here! I can’t tell you how much I appreciated riding in Moab with ya this past spring, so thankful you put out the invite. I can’t wait to go back! Have you ridden much in Colorado? I will be passing thru the Grand Junction area soon (on a car road trip) and wanted to rent a bike to hit a few mountain passes. I will only have a full day of riding so I am trying to figure out the “must ride” passes, they all look amazing! The one going from Ouray to Telluride is one my list but I am not sure of what others to hit in that area. Hope you’re having a great day today! -Mark

    Mark,

Everybody in the Group enjoyed your company and hope that you join us for future rides. We will be back in 'Moab April 2022' sometime around the first week of April or 2nd week. Pencil those dates.

I have not done any dirt riding in Colorado though would like to. I have enjoyed many of the paved driving trips through that State. Just amazing drives.

    Take Care,

    Imu

p.s love that AT. I miss my DCT.

FIRST WEEK? Can be cold overnight for us tent campers. We had frost that first year I came down.

Easter is April 17, so we need to avoid Easter Jeep Week if we can. One reference I saw online (but not an official one) said this would be April 9 - 17. This link also tried to send me to a Russian web site so I don't take this info as trustworthy.

Not my turn to pick weeks yet but the week of April 4th is a possibility. I may also be able to come there in May.

Once our vacations are chosen (big group here at work) I will throw some dates out.

Plus, what you worried about frost? Your Girl will be there with you, ain't she!

A sad day but it had to be done..........
Possible simple fix but did not have energy to deal with it.
Our van conversion went into a limp mode 2 yrs ago and would not go from 2nd gear up.
Finally, we called 'Cars For Kids' and it was hauled away.

For a good cause as well, but I'm proud of you for "thinning the herd" a touch. I don't suppose there were a dozen Coleman stoves or lanterns stashed away in the van?

My in-laws have allowed us to park our extra cars and trailers on their drive way for years.
    Not once have they complained.
It was time to start getting some simplicity in life. Mama Bear was very sentimental as her cubs grew up in that van.
    Nobody touch my Colemans.

    Hi you guys -

Kendra and I just got back from a month in CO and NM on the GSA's. Plenty of great riding - the passes are a blast - BUT - way too many people. There is a house on about every hill within 50 miles of a ski area.......NM was a little better. But we enjoyed it.

Tomorrow we head to Riggins, ID where we'll spend like 2 1/2 weeks doing a big loop around the Frank Church wilderness. Some BDR, but mostly a route we made up some years ago. I hope the fires and smoke have calmed.

    Later!

    Dave,
I don’t suppose you could share your route? I just built one that orbits Stanley, starting and ending in Idaho City, a couple friends and I will be doing around the end of September. I love that whole area and will do more riding there in the future.
