It was a delight - looking forward to next year!
I thought you were coming back for xmas?
One does not preclude the other....
Hey Rich, is that your grey t-shirt in the shed?
Had a time we did bye.
if it's a grey wicking type shirt that was hanging on a nail by the door it is probably mine. not too worried 'boot it. it's a $5 wal-mart speshul.
That's a pic of capital F fun!
Ok Rich, not worth mailing back to you.
Great time for sure, looking forward to the next time.
I found "The Chair" in Cornerbrook, cool spot. Until next time.
You had put up a new profile?
Yes, couldn't find old info. Have you heard from Rich? Intrested in how TransLab ride went.
No word from Rich in a few days, he liked your last post so he's still alive out there
Yo! I got home last night. Playing catch up with on and offline life currently. Ride went great! Met some more great folks along the way. Will sort pics and try to post up soon.
Awesome, glad you made it back safe. Looking forward to the pics
A few shots from the weekend's fun...
Mike leading a spirited scenic ride up from the ferry.
Aaron bringing up the rear.
The orchard camping area.... funny, I didn't see an orchard gnome when I took the picture... they really do exist!
Garage Sack Master.
Clowning around time.
Aaron catching some playful orange roost.
Mike catching some afternoon waves...
... and making it look easy.
Would have liked to have been there.....stoopit wedding!
Thanks for putting up your pics. As it stands we are planning to host next year’s Skibum Soiree, if we keep the same style of providing meals we will put a cap on numbers.
When we get a few things sorted I’ll put up a new thread.
Thanks, I didn't take too many pics as it was just so great to chill and flow for a couple of days like northern summer would go on forever, but there were those few moments that I thought folks might like to see.
The meals were great and a big thanks again to Sarah for those. Putting a cap on attendees seems prudent given it's taking place at your home and not like most rallies or camp n rides set in public spaces with large kitchens or catering. Your call of course, but I thought the number of folks attending, including Marko and friends, was just right. Also, the group ride to dinner was a great idea and a nice break from the previous day's of mileage riding to get there; excellent company, food and beverages in an oasis out of the wind swept surroundings.
