Same here. I'm just using 64s. Buttons. No touch screen. When you get caught up in crazy weather and deep muddy conditions, it's sucks when you're swiping around the touch screen trying to record, write down a map....just makes things worse.

I can't see how anybody can like using an app. At least the 2 I've tried suck. Revit is completely useless unless you want to pay a monthly fee. Gaia I kind of like for doing some exploring. It's a one time $20 but trying to organize your tracks suck on it. The other issues I've had while trying to use my phone is I toasted a battery having it on my bars in cold weather. My Garmin I've had since 08 and never had any issues with it. Also with the phone you have to download a

Locus pro. Makes Garmin look like it was programmed by 8th graders. I'm seriously biased as I loathe Garmin and their trip-ruining, over priced junk, but I'm really not a GPS geek. I just want the damn thing to show me a line and be easy to use. My $8 app and ancient Samsung do that better than the last $300 garmin I bought (used). Plus I get to just smile when people start rambling on about base camp.

I use my old Windows phone with a free app called GPX Viewer that I mount on a Perfect Squeeze. I charge it anytime it's in the mount. If it starts raining, I throw a Ziploc over it, with a rubber band around the bottom of the mount. If I think I'm about to drown it in a water crossing.....well, let's face it. If I really think I'm going to drown it, I need to turn around lol. Otherwise, I carry a small drybag for my wallet and phones.

I usually create tracks in Furkot, and load them using One Drive. Pretty simple stuff, or it is when I pay attention to where the track is telling me to go lol! I know the IOS & Android users have more options.

Hello.... I'm not sure if this is the right place...
Feel free to move my post to the right SLAP thread, because I don't want to talk about the superiority of Apps over Garmins....

Anyway, Tulsa Tuesday Pubcrawl Crew is leaving Friday morning rain or shine.
Ping me if you want to ride with the cool kids

Yabbut, if you have a Garmin you'll end up in Iowa.

Can we get back to the awesomeness of these loops please!
Ok Newner pointed out the BuffaloATV route I have might cross private property just north of the ATV area.
I've replace it in the single tracks above and the Loopapalooza but here it is again. The only thing that changed is north of Wild Buffalo ATV, take CR-9 to Stoverville Road into Ponca.

Or if you're feeling sporty and are good at dodging bullets, try the original route and let me know how it ends.

Same here but mine's an 1190. First thing was that my stock levers are too long. now it gives me an excuse to by the proper short levers. But seems like the Bar profile doesn't work either.

It looks like you need to get different clamps and even then it's tight fit. And those are another 44$. Magura t3 or something like that.
I sold the cycra this morning and ordered oem KTM aluminum handguards. Found sweet deal for 78$ shipped. And they are a perfect fit. http://www.ktmworld.com/product/7650297900030.html

I'm out, see y'all at Byrd's. And before I forget, you'll want to make sure to enter our insanely awesome HILLBILLY GEOCACHE, V. 2017.

It's the most fun you can have in the Ozarks without marrying your cousin, and you could win a set of Kenda Trackmaster tires, size 120/18 and 90/21. Yeeeeeehaw!

Second prize is a set of steak knives.
    Third prize: you're fired.
    Fourth prize gets a Garmin.*

    * kidding about prizes two through four.
