Was a very nice afternoon /evening yesterday.

Bikes were just starting to pile in as I was leaving this morning.

Fair warning, I might come back.

You won't believe what we found in Rodgers. Looks like we will be getting in at 2am if we don't get blown away first.

Cool! You're part of that John Suter crew aren't ya! That was a late night bike purchase. Hope y'all are safe at camp, that was a pretty good storm. You guys should have crashed at my place for the night.

I leave in 4 hours from OKC. It looks like my first SLAP will be a very wet SLAP.

Less than $15 if you buy all the options. On Android it'll do everything and then some.

Well you guys are missing an epic SLAP!!
After heavy rain all night, we were awakened at 0430 this morning by the Byrds folks with advice that we should pack up and move to higher ground on the lot because the river was bank full and we might be trapped onsite for several hours until it goes down! So move we did!

The Mulberry is bank full so we all huddled in the new cafe for breakfast!

Got there Thursday evening and then I had to leave Friday morning before things got started. Had bad weather in Broken Arrow, OK Friday night that did some damage to my house. I was so bummed to have missed this rally. Now I see that things got interesting Friday night / Saturday morning.

First my bike is down (got a loner), GPS unit took a crap, major project at work that I had to get out the door last minute, weather forecast, my wife got some disappointing lap results; all signs I should not go. But I did try and had to end up leaving anyway. Maybe I should have stayed home and the rest of you would not have had to deal with the flood.... :permazot

We could always rename the rally to Noah's Arkie

It got bad for a while. The lighting was some of the persistent I have ever seen. The lightning was flashing easily two hours before it hit this morning. Friday night we had nickle sized hail and fierce winds. Mikey I have your shirt and some of the Slap stuff, Albie has some of the Slap Stuff and so does Bob.

Is the weather going to be decent later today and tomorrow? Thinking about heading over late this afternoon and ride some tomorrow.

Bring it. We're all still here. Camp has moved right inside the front gate on the grass in the upper lot. Couldn't find any higher ground... :deal

A big thanks to all those who put together another fantastic SLAP rally. Got to ride some Friday and had a great time. No dust and the roads were super fast. Even had a nice wipe out on Whoop road to entertain the guest, although they didn't seem that impressed. Got the bike up fast enough (with help) that no photographic evidence exist....so it didn't happen. Isn't that right Charlie ???
    Thanks again, Njoytheride
